Saudi Arabia Exempts EVs from Import Duties Until 2030

In a move to accelerate electric vehicle adoption, Saudi Arabia has announced a full exemption on import duties for battery electric vehicles through 2030. The policy is expected to reduce the price of imported EVs by 5-12%, making them more competitive with ICE vehicles.

The decision aligns with Saudi Vision 2030 goals and follows similar incentives already implemented in Oman and Bahrain.
