Oman Launches First Solar-Powered EV Charging Highway

Oman has inaugurated the GCC region’s first fully solar-powered EV charging corridor along the Muscat-Salalah highway. The 1,000km route features 15 charging hubs, each powered by dedicated solar arrays and battery storage systems.

The project showcases how Gulf states can leverage abundant solar energy to power clean transportation infrastructure.
