Kuwait’s Ministry of Public Works has approved plans for dedicated EV-only lanes on three major highways in Kuwait City, set for completion by 2027. The lanes will feature embedded wireless charging technology for compatible vehicles.

This is the first such initiative in the Gulf region and aims to incentivize EV purchases by offering congestion-free commuting.
