The Standard Plus runs a 104 kWh NMC battery supplied by CATL, delivering 279 hp through a single rear motor. The Pro Ultra and Performance Ultra step up to a 111 kWh pack with dual motors producing 408 hp and 517 hp respectively. All variants use a 400-volt architecture. Four-zone climate control distributes cooling effectively across all three rows — a meaningful advantage for families in UAE summer conditions. Boot space is 310 litres with all seven seats in use, expanding to 655–689 litres with the third row folded and approximately 1,915 litres with both rear rows down. The 14.5-inch touchscreen runs Google built-in (Android Automotive OS), providing native Google Maps navigation, Google Assistant voice control, and Google Play Store access. Wireless Apple CarPlay is supported; Android Auto is not available as Google's native system replaces it. Arabic language support is available through Google's interface settings. Regenerative braking is adjustable, and one-pedal driving brings the vehicle to a complete stop. The blended brake system transitions smoothly between regenerative and friction braking. Given the vehicle's mass, brake inspection at scheduled service intervals is recommended.

Pilot Assist provides Level 2 semi-autonomous driving using adaptive cruise with stop-and-go, lane centring, and automatic speed adaptation. The Luminar LiDAR and NVIDIA Orin compute unit are hardware-ready for future Ride Pilot autonomous capability via over-the-air updates. No Level 3 autonomous driving is currently active in the UAE market.

Electronic air suspension absorbs directional inputs with composure, keeping the EX90 flat through motorway curves and roundabouts. Steering is light and precise at low speeds, firming progressively at higher velocities. The 5,037 mm length and 2,985 mm wheelbase are manageable in standard UAE multi-storey car parks.

The standard air suspension delivers the most comfortable ride in its class, filtering speed bumps and rough patches with minimal intrusion into the cabin. Ride height adjusts automatically based on speed and driving mode. Rear passenger comfort across all three rows is materially better than comparable combustion-powered seven-seat SUVs.

The EX90 is designed primarily for paved roads. The air suspension provides additional ground clearance in its raised setting, and the AWD variants offer confident traction on graded desert tracks or gravel roads. Dedicated off-road modes are not offered. Buyers seeking serious sand or wadi capability should consider alternatives.

Al Futtaim Automotive covers the EX90 with a 5-year unlimited-kilometre vehicle warranty and an 8-year/160,000 km battery warranty — competitive within the premium EV segment. Grey-imported EX90 units from Europe or the US may lack UAE-specific software calibration, regional navigation data, and summer thermal management routines. Government incentives — free Salik TAG, green parking bays (4hr limit), reduced registration fees — apply to official agency vehicles only.
