2025 Lynk & Co Z10 Review UAE
Battery Spec
The Z10 offers two LFP battery options: a 71 kWh pack on the Standard variant (400V architecture) and a 95 kWh pack across all remaining trims (800V architecture). Battery cells are supplied by Geely's in-house subsidiary, Jidian New Energy. The cell-to-pack LFP design provides strong thermal stability — a meaningful advantage in UAE summer ambient temperatures exceeding 50°C.
Real-World Range
WLTP figures range from 525 km (Standard) to 702 km (Intelligent Driving). Applying the standard 15–25% UAE reduction for motorway speeds, AC load, and ambient heat, real-world estimates are 395–445 km for the Standard, 500–565 km for the Long Range, 525–595 km for the Intelligent Driving, and 460–520 km for the Performance Ultra. Abu Dhabi–Dubai–Abu Dhabi round trips are comfortably achievable on the 95 kWh variants without a mid-route charge.
Home Charging
The Z10 charges via an 11 kW Type 2 AC onboard charger. The 71 kWh Standard variant reaches full from empty in approximately seven hours; the 95 kWh variants require approximately 9.5 hours. At DEWA's residential rate of AED 0.23/kWh, a full 95 kWh charge costs approximately AED 21.85. In Abu Dhabi at the expatriate ADDC rate of AED 0.27/kWh, the same charge costs AED 25.65.
Public Fast Charging
The 95 kWh variants on 800V architecture support DC fast charging at up to 500 kW, reaching 10–80% in approximately 15 minutes — adding over 570 km of range in that time. The 400V Standard variant charges at lower DC speeds, estimated at 150–200 kW. Compatible UAE networks: DEWA Green Charger, E2GO (ADNOC/TAQA), Tesla Supercharger (CCS2 access where available), UAEV, and GreenParking. Buyers should confirm CCS2 plug compatibility with the dealer prior to purchase.

Cabin Comfort
Nappa leather upholstery with heated, ventilated, and massage functions is standard across all trims — front and rear. The 3,005 mm wheelbase delivers generous rear legroom for a sedan of this class. Door pockets and centre console storage are well-proportioned for everyday items. The fixed panoramic glass roof floods the cabin with natural light.
Driver Comfort
The 15.4-inch floating LCD touchscreen and 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster are complemented by a 25.6-inch equivalent AR head-up display — projecting speed, navigation, and ADAS data directly into the driver's line of sight. The steering column adjusts for rake and reach. The heated steering wheel is standard.
AC Performance
Multi-zone climate control cools the cabin from above 55°C to a comfortable temperature within five to seven minutes. Remote pre-cooling via the Lynk & Co app is standard. Ventilated front and rear seats assist in stop-start traffic during UAE summers. The fixed panoramic roof benefits from UV-filtering glass, though aftermarket tinting is recommended for maximum solar protection.
Luggage
The 616-litre boot accommodates two large suitcases and cabin bags — competitive with the Tesla Model S and Zeekr 001. A power liftgate is standard. No frunk is available; the front section houses the electric motor and power electronics. Rear seats fold to extend cargo capacity for longer items.
Infotainment
The 15.4-inch touchscreen runs Flyme Auto, developed in partnership with Meizu and powered by an AMD V2000A processor — claimed to be 1.8 times more powerful than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 used in many competitors. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are supported. Arabic language support has not been confirmed for UAE-spec units at the time of writing — buyers should verify with Galadari Motors. Over-the-air updates are supported.
Safety
The Z10 is equipped with a roof-mounted 125-line LiDAR, 11 cameras, five millimetre-wave radars, and up to 12 ultrasonic sensors — processed by an NVIDIA DRIVE Orin-X chip. ADAS features include AEB, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise with stop-and-go, Highway NOA, and automated parking. The body structure uses 84.65% high-strength steel and aluminium with torsional stiffness of 45,500 Nm/deg. Euro NCAP testing has not been published, though the SEA platform achieved five stars with the Zeekr 001.
How Does it Drive?
The Z10's 0.198 Cd drag coefficient — among the lowest in production — translates to a quiet, refined motorway cruise. Instant electric torque makes roundabout exits and filter merges effortless. The sedan's low centre of gravity, courtesy of the floor-mounted battery pack, provides confidence through high-speed direction changes.
Performance
The Performance Ultra dispatches 0–100 km/h in 3.5 seconds with 789 hp and 810 Nm from its dual-motor AWD system — supercar territory for the price of a mid-range luxury sedan. Even the Standard and Long Range variants, at 6.8 seconds, are adequate for decisive motorway merging. Top speed ranges from 210 km/h (RWD variants) to 250 km/h (Performance Ultra).
Braking
Regenerative braking is adjustable with multiple levels of recuperation. One-pedal driving is available. The regenerative system works in concert with conventional hydraulic brakes for consistent stopping performance across all drive modes. The large battery mass requires confident braking calibration, which the Z10 delivers.
Autopilot
The LiDAR-equipped ADAS suite supports Highway NOA — automated lane changes, on-ramp to off-ramp navigation, and overtaking on the E11 and Sheikh Zayed Road. City NOA is available on higher trims. Adaptive cruise with stop-and-go functions reliably in dense traffic. The system requests driver input on unmarked or poorly-maintained secondary roads.
Handling
Double-wishbone front and multi-link rear suspension provide a balanced, planted feel. The Performance Ultra adds dual-chamber air suspension with CDC (Continuous Damping Control) and ±30 mm ride height adjustment. Driving modes — Comfort, Sport, and Sport+ — adjust throttle response, steering weight, and suspension firmness. The 5,028 mm length requires attention in tighter multi-storey car parks.
Ride
Over the UAE's predominantly smooth urban roads, the Z10 rides with limousine-like composure. The air suspension on the Performance Ultra absorbs expansion joints and speed bumps with particular refinement. Standard variants on passive dampers remain comfortable but transmit more secondary road imperfections at higher speeds.
Warranty and After-Sales
Galadari Motors covers the Z10 with an eight-year battery warranty — competitive for the segment. Vehicle warranty terms should be confirmed directly with the dealer, as Lynk & Co's UAE operations are still in early stages. Geely's global service infrastructure and the shared SEA platform with Zeekr and Volvo provide some reassurance on parts availability. Service intervals for BEV models are typically longer and cheaper than ICE equivalents — annual servicing is estimated at AED 1,500–2,500.
Grey Import vs Official Dealer
Grey import Z10 units from China use GB/T charging plugs — incompatible with the UAE's CCS2 public charging infrastructure without third-party adapters that may void warranty and reduce charging speed. Chinese-spec software lacks Arabic navigation and may not support UAE mapping services. Insurance loading on grey imports is 15–25% above standard. Government EV incentives — free Salik tag, green parking, reduced registration fees — apply to official agency vehicles only. The Z10's high-voltage 800V system requires manufacturer-certified tooling.
Cost of Ownership
At AED 108,000, the Standard variant undercuts the Tesla Model 3 Long Range and sits well below the Zeekr 001. For a buyer covering 20,000 km per year with a home wall box, annual electricity cost is estimated at AED 1,200–1,800, versus AED 7,000–10,000 for a comparable petrol sedan. Combined running cost savings are estimated at AED 5,000–8,000 per year.
Insurance estimates through official UAE channels range from AED 5,500 to AED 9,000 annually depending on the variant. Annual BEV servicing is approximately AED 1,500–2,500. Government incentives include a free Salik tag (toll charges of AED 4–6 per gate still apply), green parking bay access with a four-hour session limit, and reduced RTA registration fees.
Depreciation risk is moderate-to-high. Lynk & Co is a new brand in the UAE with limited market recognition, which typically depresses residual values in the first two to three years. However, Galadari's backing and the Geely group's expanding GCC footprint provide a foundation for improving resale prospects. LFP battery chemistry resists thermal capacity fade in hot climates, supporting long-term battery health. Three-year resale is estimated at 45–55% of purchase price — below established European rivals but competitive for Chinese brands entering the GCC.
