DC fast charging peaks at 104 kW via CCS2 — the I-PACE's most significant limitation in 2025. A 10–80% charge takes approximately 45 minutes, versus 15–27 minutes on newer competitors. Real-world DC speeds are heavily temperature-dependent; a pre-conditioned battery on a warm day achieves the best results. This is where the I-PACE continues to justify attention. The dual-motor AWD system delivers 400 hp with a fluidity and precision that few electric SUVs match. The low centre of gravity and wide track create genuine driving enjoyment.

The 0–100 km/h sprint in 4.8 seconds with 696 Nm of torque is rapid and consistent. Top speed is limited to 200 km/h. The dual motors provide balanced AWD traction in all conditions. Regenerative braking is adjustable with a dedicated button for high-regen mode. The system provides strong deceleration and meaningful energy recovery. Adaptive cruise with steering assist is available on SE and HSE trims. The system handles well-marked UAE motorways competently, maintaining lane position and managing stop-and-go traffic. It is a Level 2 system requiring continuous driver supervision. The ADAS capability is adequate but not class-leading — newer competitors offer more advanced highway assist with LiDAR and automated lane changes.

Double-wishbone front and multi-link rear suspension — with optional electronic air suspension and adaptive damping on the HSE — deliver the I-PACE's standout driving quality. Turn-in is sharp and responsive, body roll is well-controlled, and the chassis communicates road surface detail with clarity unusual for an EV.
