The 2026 Bolt is exclusively available in the larger, more practical crossover body style previously seen on the Bolt EUV. It positions itself as the entry point for electric motoring in the UAE, competing directly with the likes of the Nissan Leaf and the BYD Atto 3. For 2026, it adopts a more aggressive front fascia and a significantly more premium interior.

Electric Motor: A front-mounted permanent-magnet motor producing 210 hp and 229 Nm of torque.     The Drive: While it has slightly less torque than the older 2023 models, a higher final drive reduction means it still feels incredibly punchy off the line. Acceleration: Expect a 0–100 km/h time in the low 7-second range, making it perfect for darting through city traffic.

Battery: A 65 kWh lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) battery pack, which is more durable and better suited for frequent 100% charging than older chemistries.     Range: Estimated at 410 km (GM-est). In the UAE summer, you can expect a reliable 330–350 km of range per charge. Charging: This is the biggest upgrade—it now supports 150 kW DC fast charging with a native NACS port. You can now charge from 10% to 80% in just 26 minutes.

Interior: A complete redesign featuring higher-quality plastics and soft-touch materials. The flat floor design ensures impressive legroom for both front and rear passengers. Seating: The 2026 model offers more rear-seat knee room than many SUVs in the segment above it.     V2H Capability: When paired with a GM Home Energy station, the Bolt can actually power your home during a blackout—a first for this price bracket.

Displays: A standard 11.3-inch touchscreen with Google Built-in, complemented by an 11-inch digital driver information center.     Connectivity: Note that Chevrolet has moved away from Apple CarPlay and Android Auto in favor of its native Google-based system, which includes Google Maps and Spotify directly on the dashboard.     Super Cruise: For the first time, the Bolt is available with Super Cruise, allowing for hands-free driving on compatible highways (check local availability for specific UAE road support).

Warranty: Typically covered by Chevrolet Complete Care, offering a 3-year/100,000 km bumper-to-bumper warranty. EV Components: The battery and electric drive components are covered for 8 years or 160,000 km.     Service: Scheduled maintenance in the UAE usually includes 24/7 Roadside Assistance. Service intervals are less frequent than petrol cars, generally focusing on tire rotations and multi-point inspections every 12,000 km.
