The Sealion 7 accepts 11 kW AC via Type 2, charging from empty to full in approximately 8.5 hours on a villa wall box. At DEWA's residential rate of AED 0.23/kWh, a full charge costs roughly AED 18.98. In Abu Dhabi at the expatriate rate of AED 0.27/kWh, the cost is approximately AED 22.28. Overnight charging covers a full working week for most commuters.

DC fast charging at up to 150 kW CCS2 reaches 10–80% in approximately 31 minutes. Compatible UAE networks include DEWA Green Charger, E2GO (including ADNOC and TAQA stations), UAEV (Northern Emirates), and GreenParking. Ventilated front seats (Performance trims) combat UAE heat during short journeys. The panoramic glass roof includes a powered sunshade but aftermarket UV tinting remains advisable for summer.

The boot measures 520 litres with all seats upright, expanding to 1,789 litres with the rear bench folded. A 58-litre front trunk (frunk) accommodates charging cables or a small carry-on. The AWD variant's 4.5-second 0–100 km/h sprint places it among the quickest mid-size SUVs in the UAE market. The RWD's 6.7-second time is comfortable for daily driving and confident overtaking. Mid-range acceleration is strong in both configurations, aided by instant electric torque delivery.

Standard suspension delivers a supple, well-damped ride over the UAE's generally smooth urban roads. Minor imperfections are absorbed without harshness. At motorway speeds, the Sealion 7 tracks straight with minimal float. Rear passenger comfort is a genuine strength for long-distance family trips.
